NON SIMULTANEOUS POSSIBLE. Beautiful Vancouver Island... Seeking extended stay Europe for 2020 (southern France preferred). We are happy to plan for many exchanges in this time period. Two homes on our property so non-simultaneous is possible.
We offer our recently updated single level home along with a newly built guest house on our property. We are just a short walk or cycle (3 bikes included) to the pretty village center or to the ocean. Located in Qualicum Beach, a gorgeous beach side community located on the east coast of Vancouver Island where it seldom gets too hot in summer or too cold during winter. Our town is situated in a micro-climate that offers the best weather in the country!
Situated mid-island makes us a terrific jumping off point to other areas of Vancouver Island or the magnificent Gulf Islands, one of British Columbia's real jewels. Legendary among adventure seekers, Vancouver Island is very large place and is best suited to lengthy vacations as there is just so much to explore.
We are also a short seaplane, helicopter ride or ferry trip to the mainland of British Columbia and all the Vancouver has to offer.
Our main house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. At the back of our property sits a new guest house which features two bedrooms and one bathroom. This arrangement would allow two couples to travel together while still maintaining complete privacy. Use of car is possible but it is a 2 seat manual shift. For those needing a larger vehicle there are car rental agencies close by.

Qualicum Beach in an idyllic seaside village midway along the eastern shore of legendary Vancouver Island.
While there's plenty to see and do right here, Qualicum Beach also serves as an excellent jumping off point to much of Vancouver Island's other adventures.
The main highway to Uclulet and Tofino is a short drive from our home. The ferry to Vancouver is an easy 25 minute drive south of us. Vancouver Island is quite unlike any other place; we've got sophisticated shopping in Victoria to the south to some the most remote and unspoiled wilderness to the north of us and it's all readily accessible.
