Our home overlooking the beautiful Shannon Estuary is within 10 minutes walk of the village of Foynes.

Foynes village , situated at the foot of mature forest slopes, has a world class Flying Boat & Maritime Museum, pleasant walking trails overlooking Foynes Island , a children’s playground and is home to a very active Sailing Club.

For those who like sea swimming we are 5 minutes drive from KIlteery pier , and 40minutes from Ballybunion beach.. Surf lessons are available in Ballybunion throughout the Summer.

We are located just 30 minutes drive from Limerick city where St John’s Castle (13 Century Castle) and the Hunt Museum are located. Limerick is a vibrant city with a variety of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs.

Bunratty Folk Park is an added attraction for tourists - rural farmhouses , village shops, streets and a castle are recreated and furnished as they would have appeared in the 18th and 19th century- ( an interesting and fun day out for all the family ) . ( 45 minutes drive )

We are ideally located to explore both Co. Clare and Kerry. We are a 15 minute drive to a ferry which crosses the Shannon Estuary every 30 minutes allowing you to visit the world famous Cliffs of Moher and visitor centre. We are also just 75 minutes from the beautiful town of Killarney - the gateway to the Ring of Kerry ( renowned for its majestic mountains and walking trails).

We are 1hour 45minutes from Galway city, gateway to the Irish Gaeltacht and European capital of culture 2020. With its tangled lanes lined with colourful shopfronts curving around Galway Bay , Galway is one of Irelands most picturesque cities.

For anyone who would like to visit Dublin we are only 2 hours 30 minutes away. ( Guinness Storehouse, Chester Beatty Library, Christ Church cathedral , Trinity College Dublin ) .

For golfing enthusiasts, we are located 15 minutes from Newcastlewest Golf Course( very reasonable rates), 20 minutes from the Internationally renowned Adare Manor Golf Club , and 40 minutes from the World class links golf course in Ballybunion. If you like to ride horses or would like to learn we are also 20 minutes from the Clonshire Equestrian Centre which provides riding classes and summer camps for both adults and children from absolute beginners to accomplished riders.

We are located 45 minutes from Shannon Airport, 1hr 45 minutes from Cork Airport, and 2hrs 30 minutes from Dublin.
