Our home is very precious to us and we like very much to keep it nice, friendly and relaxed with a pleasant atmosphere. It’s meant to be a calm place to be and live.
I like a lot to plant flowers and make it beautiful in the garden and it´s really enjoyable to eat dinner at the outdoor eatingarea or drink a cold Tuborg or Carlsbergbeer in the comfy-zone.
If you bring children, the playground is to be found right outside the frontdoor.

Our house is located in Lystrup, which is a suburb wth 10.000 inhabitants, 12 km North of Aarhus C.
It offers 3 supermarkets, bakery, clothesshop, flowershop, petsshop, pizzeria, restaurants, hairdresser, library, schools, swimmingpool, church, postoffice, bikeshop and some other shops. It´s possible to get around by foot.
We have the most beautiful surroundings which encourage to go for a walk. I can strongly recommend you to go for a hike around our local lake, Egå Engsø.
It´s a walk at 5,2 km and it takes about 50 minutes to complete it all the way.
You can bring your own picnic and enjoy your meal at the shelterplace in beautiful surroundings. If you are interested in birds, you have the opportunety, to visit the birdtower and watch a great amount of different birds. Bring your camera and make some great shots!
It´s also possible to excercise by running around the lake and there is an exercisearea with fitness equipment right next to the lake.
After a nice walk or excercise, you can be sure to get a great meal at The LCF(Lystrup Café and Familyrestaurant) for a cheap amount. It´s towns best and most cosy eatingplace and you can buy all sorts of Courts.
That was some of the local stuff!
But that´s not all! GO VISIT AARHUS!
Aarhus is the 2.largest city in Denmark and has 336.411 inhabitants.
You can easily go by car to Aarhus, but we also offer either going by train(light rail)ride, which takes about 15 minutes or even a bus ride. It can be hard to find a car parking in the center of town, but DOKK1 offers underground parking, which is rather poplular and very easy.
In Aarhus we have all sorts of attractions.
If you fancy visits at museums, you should definately go to Aros Artmuseum and experience the wiev from The Rainbow on top of the museum. It´s quite spectacular to watch Aarhus in colours and you can change the coulor, just by walking around the circle:) This museum is an absolutely MUST.
Another museum that´s worth seeing is Moesgaard Museum, which shows exibitions from different periods in ancient times.
-Maybe you´ve heard about The Grauballe man, who was forund in a swamp near Silkeborg in 1952. He´s probably the worlds best preserved body and lived most likely around 290 Before Christ.
You can see him lying in a glass case at the museum and it´s definately worth a visit!
Right next to Aros you´ll find the Musichall where it´s possible to go for a concert of your own choise and taste.
Visually it`s a beautiful architecturally pearl and audiotively the acoustics is fantastic.
If you´re up to fun and speed, I can surgest that you visit Tivoli Friheden.
It´s our amusementpark and grown ups as well as kids, can be entertained for hours. It´s placed close to the forrest and yet it´s a part of town and parking is close to Tivoli.
Aarhus is located at the eastcoast of Jutland(Jylland) and water is a part of town. We have a very cosy Midtown with bars and restaurants along the creek through town.
It´s growing bigger all the time and a lot of fancy, beautiful and expensive looking buildings are shooting up in the new area, Aarhus Ø. This area is build on what used to be waterarea and appears very attractive and decorative.
If you like to go shopping, there´s plenty of opportuneties. We have Bruuns Gallery, which is an indoor shoppingcenter, in connection to the Railroad Station Midtown.
From here you can walk down through the main shopping street(Ryesgade), where no cars are allowed.
Down the end of Ryesgade you´ll find The Dome of Aarhus. It´s the longes church in Denmark with it´s 96 meters. It´s possible to get up in the clocktower and perhaps write your name underneath the stairsteps;)
