You are most welcome in our comfy, large family home!
Our comfortable house with large garden is located on a quiet street, in a safe, green area with easy access to freeways. And there are many restaurants, supermarkets and shops within walking distance.
Our home has everything you need to feel at home:
-large open living area with plenty room to relax or play
-fully stocked and large kitchen
-a large family dining table of 3,3 meters
-3 bedrooms upstairs
-bathroom wih 2 showers
-loft with the masterbedroom and an extra room with a crosstrainer and rowling machine
-outdoor bbq, trampoline, bikes, ping pong table.
-plenty streetparking (Free)
-public swimmingpool 500meters from our house

Our home is a cosy home, in a quiet street. Within walking distance you reach shops and restaurants (see photo), but also a public swimming pool and a children's farm with playground and coffee facilitees. With your bike, you'll reach the woods in 5 minutes and if you like hiking, there is plenty of beautiful area within walking distance. And don't forget our old historical city center! We have been chosen the best city center of the Netherlands in 2020.
For kids Breda has a lot to offer and you can reach everything by bike: playground Ploegstraat, ice skating, skatebording, indoor playgrounds, bowling, mini lego world and swimming indoor and outdoor, rent a boat and sail along the canals with the whole family.
A must of Breda is the location close(30 minutes by car) to the Efteling (www.efteling.com), the largest theme park in the Netherlands. A unique park, open everyday of the year.
Twenty minutes drive from here, you can visit park de Beekse Bergen (www.beeksebergen.nl), which is a Safari park wit a mega playground.
And don't forget Antwerp, the Antwerp Zoo is magnificant (www.zooantwerpen.be/en/) and 45 minutes from our home.
Breda is located near the Belgian border, so Antwerp center is 45 minutes by car. Easy access to the freeways brings you in 30 minutes to Rotterdam center and it is 69 miles to Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam). If you choose the public transport, Breda has a lot to offer. With a big, modern, central trainstation, you can reach a lot of interesting places. The station is 15 minutes from our home by bike. A taxi to the station is €20,--
Breda is located in the Province of Brabant (www.visitbrabant.nl/en).
Brabant has attractive nature reserves. Four National Parks like the Biesbosch (see photo). Brabant countryside invites you to walk, to go orse riding and to cycle. We offer Europe's longest integrated cycle network.
Brabant had a lot places to go to: Eindhoven for example, that's the design hotspot of our region. But our province has also a lot of well preserved century old towns with historical monuments, city walls, cathedrals, castles (Heeswijk) and fortifications (Heusden).

Such a lovely family. We were delighted with the exchange experience. I was a true pleasure to host the family. Our hone was spotless upon our return. The exchange with the family Van de Wijgert was wonderful. Every went well for the communication before the exchange and for the organization. We found the house in perfect condition and it was exactly like the announcement. They left us toys and bike seats for our girls, which was very nice. We strongly recommend them for any exchange, you will love it!
The home exchange with Leticia & Alexis + kids was super good. Home was perfect, very easygoing in the communication, good tips concerning Lyon. It's a great place, close to Lyon, in a green area close to the mountains. We recommend!

We are a family of 5: Mirjam & Daan (parents), Job (15),Noud (12) and Frederieke (10).We bought our home in 2015, It is located very close to the woods, in a quiet street and only 20 minutes (on bike) away from the city center of Breda.
Daan is director of a logistic community (LCB) and Mirjam works at the city of Gorinchem. We like to travel and we look forward hosting other good families on their travels!
