Holiday home in Isla Cristina, South of Spain

Our House is surrounded by a garden of 200 m2 and has a spacious porch. It is just 200 metres from the beach and the forest that extends 7 km in parallel to the sea to Isla Cristina. ( We have another house in Zalamea la Real, of which I will speak at the end) Due to its location allows you to enjoy a quiet holiday with easy access to the areas of leisure and entertainment of Islantilla and Urbasur: shops, bars, restaurants, supermarket, cinema, hotels, golf course, beach promenade, areas of small boats and sail boards hire....
It is 15 km from the Algarve (Portugal), 40 km from Huelva and 130 kilometers from Seville.
In Seville you can see its great monuments that are world heritage of Unesco, such as the Cathedral (with the famous Tower of the Giralda):
http://www.planetadigital360.com/tour/sevilla/giralda/index.html

The Alcazar, the oldest Royal Palace of Europe of Islamic origins:

And the Archivo de Indias:

And other sights and attractions like the Tower of gold, the Spain square, the Park of María Luisa, the Church of el Salvador, the Museum of fine arts (second Spain after the Prado), the churches of the famous Holy week images as the Macarena, Jesús del Gran Poder and the Cachorro, the Guadalquivir River, the Maestranza, the former tobacco factory....
At similar distance from Seville is Cordoba, with its fantastic Mosque, and a similar distance from Cordoba to the wonderful Alhambra, Granada. Thus, the Beach House can serve as a starting point for wonderful excursions in Andalusia. Also, in the environment of the house in the beach  you can enjoy wonderful landscapes and protected natural areas such as:

-The Mining Park Riotinto, where NASA has tested robots to travel to Mars.
In 1873, the British Rio Tinto Company Limited undertook the exploitation of the mines of Riotinto, the largest mining complex and oldest in the world. Fruit of the British heritage are the curious neighborhood of Bellavista, the British hospital (today seat of the Mining Museum) and the train linking rio Tinto mines with the port of Huelva in parallel to river of same name. Today is still possible to take a tourist trip on a mining train to steam and enjoy the Martian landscapes of this region stained by the red color of the mineral and the waters of the River.

HOUSE IN ZALAMEA LA REAL

Brexit? Catalexit? If you want to have a safe haven in Europe, the warm and peaceful Andalusia can be your opportunity. We have another family house recently renovated in a white village in the sierra called Zalamea la Real, 448 meters high and in the middle of the province of Huelva. For this central position, everything is within a radius of 100 kilometers: Seville (88), Huelva (66), Aracena (39 kilometers), border with Portugal through Rosal and Ayamonte (100), Doñana (60), Riotinto (5).

This house has been inhabited by miners and farmers and responds to the traditional architecture of this Andalusian town, although it has been adapted to new uses over time. For example, the old stables for farm animals in the field have been converted into a garage for cars.
The most important thing in an old house is what is not seen. And in this sense, the electrical network and water pipes have been completely renewed here.

Taking advantage of the rehabilitation have been placed numerous plugs and connections for TV and Telephone in each room (with space for a table, so they can serve as a bedroom and a place to work) and in the halls.

The roofs have been rehabilitated and LED bulbs installed throughout the house.

We have located the old factory that dates back a century ago and has returned to manufacture the hydraulic tiles as the original with which the floor of one of the rooms has been recovered. The 60% of the floor of the house is formed by old hydraulic tiles of artisan manufacture.

All the tiles in the kitchen have been changed.

In the back of the house, separated by the two interior yard, a modern bathroom has been created, changing the floor and doors and enabled a garage. If necessary, part of the dividing wall can be demolished to extend the garage and introduce two cars and / or motorcycles.

Most of the walls of the house are made of stone, so it is very cool in summer.

Estimated dimensions of the house:

-Area of the plot: 157,04 m2
-Builded surface: 128,00 m2
-Surface of courtyards: 29,20 m2
(Courtyards, with pavements in the ground and awning for summer).
-Entrance hall: 6,78 m2
-Main bedroom: 13,26 m2
-Second bedroom: 9,70 m2
-First living room: 11,12 m2
-Second living room: 14,66 m2
-Kitchen: 8,76 m2
-Pantry: 1 m2
-First courtyard: 9,06 m2
-Second courtyard: 20,14 m2
-Second Bathroom: 3,77 m2
-Garage: 13,81 m2
-Garage convertible space: 14,67 m2

This family home is not for exchange but if an Intervac partner wants to own a house in Spain we can talk about it.
