House in Skødstrup, Denmark

Our house is a two storey house build in 1971 with plenty of room in the 202 sqm.
Our house is situated on the edge of a small town ( approx 8000 people) next to the open fields on a 1350 m2 lot. The garden is fairly private with a covered terrace and a nice view of the fields.
The house is very adapted to children, as Naja has a daycare here, on top of our own two, now early teenage, kids. No antiques, but lots of toys :)

Our Neighbourhood

Our house in the last on the road, so there is no traffic passing and the area is very quiet. The town school is some 200 meters away with playgrounds and football fields where the local children often come to play.
We do our daily shopping at the local shops located within 1km. These include, among others, four supermarkets, a bakery, pharmacy, and a wine-shop.
There is a train and busstop 800m away with connections to Århus and Grenå.

Some places of interest nearby:
The city of Aarhus (15 km) Second largest city of Denmark, but still a very cozy town. Many sights and attractions and plenty of shops.

Djurs Sommerland (30 km) A very fine activity park where all rides are free once the entrance fee has been paid.

Grenå (50 km) Old town with 14th century church and a prehistoric museum and fisheries museum. "Kattegat Center" -an exhibition of the wildlife in the sea Kattegat, including sharks. The best beach around, especially with kids, with a wide sand and dune areas and plenty of clean shallow waters. The two photos of beaches were taken there.

Legoland (120 km) Miniature houses and landscapes built of Lego bricks. Also an activity park and a fine exhibition of old dolls.
