The 135 m2 apartment is in the first floor of a historic building near Schönbrunn. The Tramway station is right infront of the house and walking to the next subway station (Hietzing) takes 6 minutes. The building is original Jugendstil and located in the heart of Hietzing. The entrance to Schönbrunn is right around the corner.

The apartment is located in the heart of Hietzing - one of Viennas most prestige districts. Schönbrunn is virtually around the corner and all sorts of shops, cafes, boutiques and restaurants are footsteps away.
Right infront of the building is a tramway station (Dommayergasse) and the next subway station (Hietzing) is a 6 minute walk away. Tiergarten Schönbrunn, one of the most rewarded zoos in the world ist also nearby as are some other historic places such as the Klimt Villa. With the subway you will be in the city within less than 15 minutes.
As Hietzing is in the west of Vienna you are in no time in the "Wiener Wald" for hiking or biking. In 2,5 hours you can be in Salzburg.

Well situated flat; very big and cosy; our host left us instructions about where to park our car outside the city and about places to see.We had a visio call beforehand to talk about our swap and finalize details. She is very kind and well planned about the swap.We had a wonderful experience; the shops are very close too.

Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit in Wien, dazu haben Sabines sehr geräumige und gemütliche Wohnung sowie auf jeden Fall ihre freundliche, herzliche und offene Art als Gastgeberin beigetragen.
I had a wonderful stay in Sabine's lovely apartment. Perfect distance to central Vienna and all the sights and walking distance to Schönbrunn Palace. Sabine was very friendly and helpful. We communicated via WhatsApp throughout the exchange and helped each other with small questions that arose during the exchange weeks. I also borrowed a bike which I took with me on the subway one Sunday to Donauinsel and ate a packed lunch and then cycled all the way home through Vienna.

Hi, or as we say in Vienna: Servus!
Let me introduce myself: My name is Sabine, I am 57 years old and living in Vienna, working as Project Manager for a Humanitarian Organisation.
I have been thinking of exchanging homes since some time, but now, as my daughter has moved out and travelling is possible again, I thought, it is time to finally give it a try.
I am open for everything, but for the beginning I am most interested in exchanging with somebody from another European city but would also love to visit places in the US, especially New York.
I am very exited and looking forward to my first home exchange!
