Penthouse with sea views in Costa del Sol (Granada, Spain)
The property we offer is our second home, so we can accept both simultaneous and non-simultaneous exchanges. It is located in a quiet area of the Andalusian coast belonging to the province of Granada. Temperatures are warm the whole year, with an annual average of 20ºC. The best way to arrive to Playa Granada is through the international airport Malaga-Costa del Sol (105 kilometers away), with connections to 70 European and American cities.
It is a very spacious and bright penthouse, approximately 100 square meters plus a large terrace of 80 square meters, with magnificent views of an 18-hole golf course, the Mediterranean Sea, and, unbelievably, at the same time, to the snow-capped mountains of Sierra Nevada. It has two double bedrooms (one with its own dressing room, bathroom, and terrace), another bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room. The property is very new, built in 2023, in a development with three swimming pools, children's play areas, gardens, a communal gym, and security service. It has its own parking space in the underground parking lot.
Blue Flag beaches are just 400 meters away from the main door. The caddy master of Los Moriscos golf course is just 300 meters away. The nearest town is Motril (50,000 inhabitants), 4 kilometers away, with shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, hospital, banks and other basic services. Also 4 kilometers away is the beautiful village of Salobreña (12,000 inhabitants) and 70 kilometers away the breath-taking city of Granada (250,000 inhabitants).
In order to enjoy your stay we highly recommend renting a car. The apartment has its own parking spot. The Port of Motril, 2 kilometers away, offers ferry connections with African cities of Melilla (Spain) and Nador, Tangier and Al Hoceima (Morocco). Playa Granada is well connected by highway to Granada, Malaga and Almeria.
The temperature ranges are between 12 and 20 º C in winter and 22 to 35 º C in summer. Granada's coast is known as Costa Tropical, because of its plantations of mangoes, avocados and custard apples that are exported to Europe.

Granada is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. It is famous for its rich legacy and culture, spectacular monuments and vibrant life thanks to the 60,000 students at the prestigious University of Granada. And, above all, by the free tapas served in all the bars of the town.
Skiing in Sierra Nevada (96 km from Playa Granada, 1 hour and 15 minutes by car)
With more than 105 kilometres of trails contained in 118 ski runs, Sierra Nevada provides one of the largest and most attractive skiing domains in southern Europe.
Visit the Alpujarra region (53 km from Playa Granada, 1 hour by car)
The Alpujarra is a mountainous region located between Sierra Nevada peaks and the Mediterranean Sea. In their villages, the clock seems to have stood still for centuries. Preserves ancient traditions and the architecture of their houses is the same as the Berber villagers used a thousand years ago.

This was a non-simultaneous exchange since this place is my partners' second home. Francisco and Magda are supposed to spend two weeks at my place in August 2026. Their place looks even better than in the pictures. Everything went smooth, our correspondence before my arrival, as well as during my stay at their place. I met Francisco and Magda upon arrival, they quickly showed me the place and we stayed in contact throughout my vacation. I hope they were happy with the care I showed towards their home. It is a beautiful place and I esppecially loved the view: the sea at one side of the condo and the snow covered mountain on the other side.
It has been one of our best exchanges. Cathy and Dessy are very kind hosts. The house is lovely and located in a spectacular place, with sea views from the bedrooms and the living room. The area is perfect to enjoy the beauty of Ireland: we went hiking in the Mourne Mountains, played golf on the amazing local courses, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurants in Dundrum and Newcastle. Thank you for this exchange opportunity!
We had a fabulous holiday in Playa Granada. Francisco communicated very well throughout our exchange. The apartment was absolutely amazing. It exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The fabulous terrace has incredible views of the nearby golf course and the sea beyond. I would thoroughly recommend this exchange.
We had a wonderful exchange experience in Malmö. Kristin and Simon are excellent hosts. Their home is well situated and cozy, and the kitchen is especially well equipped. The weather was excellent during our stay.
