Behind these windows, you will find one of the most colourful and cosy apartments in Rotterdam. Entering the square hallway, you immediately feel the authenticity of the 30’s.
Wooden floors, stained glass doors, high ceilings... very well utilised, it’s all there.
The apartment is light and sunny, has a beautiful view and is located on a 15 min. walk from the city centre, in a cosy and peaceful neighbourhood called Blijdorp (which is Dutch for ‘happy village’😊). You will also find Rotterdam Zoo (also called Blijdorp) in walking distance. Take a walk in one of the close-by parks or adjacent estates.
Public transportation options are widely available and almost on your doorstep. Hoek van Holland beach is just a 30 minute drive away by car but you can also take the Randstadrail (underground) to it! But of course you can also take one of the ‘Check!’ electric scooters to travel.
Spend your time in the relaxing but vibrant city of Rotterdam... Please take a look inside the house and enjoy!

My apartment is situated in a nice residential district of Rotterdam. I live along a canal with a beautiful view with friendly neighbours.
I live only 10 minutes walking away from the railway station, Rotterdam Central station (CS). The city center is only 15 minutes walk.
Around the corner of our street you will find a lot of supermarkets where you can find a various kind of food from all parts of the world.

Appartement agréable, très bien situé dans un quartier calme de Rotterdam. Transport en commun, magasins, restaurants à proximité et le centre-ville se situe à 20' à pied. Bonne communication avec Mariette avant, pendant et après l'échange. Satisfaits donc de cet échange.
We loved the house. Very spacious, clean and a big garden. We had a nice time in Nantes. Unfortunately there was aburglary in our car. But Nantes is a nice town, lots to see. Our exchange partners were very friendly and we could message them when we had questions.
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans l'appartement de Mariette. Celui ci est très bien situé, très bien équipé, parfait pour notre séjour de 6 jours. Nous n'avons pas eu la chance de rencontrer Mariette mais la remise des clefs s'est très bien passée, tout avait été prévu !
De ligging van deze woning is zeer aangenaam om de stad te ontdekken. Zeer rustig gelegen en toch ben je overal dichtbij, ook goed openbaar vervoer dichtbij

My name is Mariette (1964), and I live on my own in a beautiful appartment. I have 2 children; Casper (1999) and Olga (2002). I have a partner, Bart, and he will join me on my trips. We love to visit festivals in- and outside our country.
