Large 1950’s home, huge yard/garden, less than 1hour to beaches and Philadelphia. Can train to New York City.
Easy access to trains, should one not want to drive. We are conveniently located between ocean, the famous Pine Barrens, and high culture found in either New York City or Philadelphia (art, theater, orchestra, museums, zoos, restaurants, etc.) Within 5 miles (less than 10 minutes) to shopping, cinema, malls, etc. Cultural and beautiful Princeton is 1½ hour drive. In -ground pool. There are many rivers, and we have 3 canoes and 2 kayaks. We also have bikes - very flat so easy cycling. Modern kitchen with glass-top stove, microwave, dishwasher, and view of garden with patio, grill and outside eating. We are a couple in our 70s. We have a piano, many books to browse (art, theology, textiles, travel, nature). My husband is a birder and loves nature. I love art, culture and travel. I collect textiles and one could easily think they were in Central Asia, the Middle East or Africa from our decor. Our son is married and lives in Grand Rapids, MI.

Nous avons eu l'occasion de rencontrer nos hôtes quelques jours. Ils sont accueillants et c'est une vraie expérience de vie américaine. Leur maison est située dans une zone rurale mais à l'intérieur d'un vaste complexe urbanisé . C'est une maison ancienne à côté de l'église car notre hôte est pasteur. Nous avons pu rencontrer des gens de leur communauté. Nous n'avons pas fait beaucoup de cuisine et avons beaucoup circulé à l'extérieur donc nous n'avons pas beaucoup profité de la maison et ne pouvons pas juger les équipements. C'est une maison ancienne donc elle ne convient pas aux gens épris de modernité et de murs blancs mais elle est conforme à l'annonce. Il y a un vaste jardin avec un salon de jardin agréable. La situation est à la limite du New Jersey et de la Pennsylvanie. Elle permet d'accéder à Philadelphie facilement. Une voiture est indispensable pour découvrir les villes de la vallée du Delaware. Nous avons gardé leurs animaux pendant l'échange ce qui était prévu dans le contrat.
