Large house: Close to Black Forest, Europapark, the French border
We are a family of five (54, 52, 22, 20, 15) living in a semi-detached house (200m²), behind the house we have a quiet garden.
You can reach the following tourist areas or sights in about 1h:
Black Forest, Europa Park (the best loved theme park in Germany), Heidelberg, Strasbourg (France), the UNESCO-world heritage sites Speyer (cathedral) and Maulbronn (monestary) .
But there are also many other possibilities to enjoy your holidays either in Ettlingen itself (strolling through the pretty pedestrian zone or through one of the beautiful parks) or around Ettlingen: going swimming in a lake or the indoor/outdoor swimming-pool, and endless opportunities to go cycling or hiking (Black Forest).
You´ll find multiple cycle tracks - also safe for young children.

Oberweier is a small quite village ( about 1000 inhabitants) on site of Ettlingen (a historic old town ).
You can reach the Central Station Karlsruhe within 15 minutes and the Baden Airport within 35 minutes.
You can explore the surroundings by car, by bike or with public transports.

Ein wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger Lage und eine ganz tolle Familie, die uns einen tollen Urlaub in ihrer Region ermöglicht hat!
Good-sized house in a peaceful location. Excellent for pianists. Tasty eggs from the chickens every morning. Friendly neighbours. Lots of stairs! Views of the Black Forest and walks nearby. Lovely lake for swimming close by. Use of electric bikes was a real asset too!
Un intercambio excepcional. Nos encantó la casa, la zona, y el trato cordial en todo momento con la familia.
Une belle maison, très agréable, bien située. Une famille charmante, à l'écoute, disposée à rendre service et très respectueuse. Échange fortement recommandé.
