We are happy to welcome you to our newly built mountain-lodge in Borgafjäll, southern Lapland. The lodge is located just at the foot of Klovermountain with magic views of the mountains. The lodge is decorated in Scandinavian colours, inspired by both its location in Lapland as well as its mountain surroundings. The lodge can house up to eight persons with four bedroom on two floors, with king-size doublebeds in all rooms. A spacious living room and kitchen-area with big windows facing Klöverfjallet. A well equipped kitchen with a big kitchen table. This will be your favourite spot for morning and evenings, watching the colour of Kloverfjallet change, as the suns sets. There is a woodfire chimney and a sauna in the house, to enjoy after skiing or hiking trips. The private parking space is just outside the house and we provide a recharger for electrical cars. The garden/plot is 2500 square meters, with some nice spots for enjoying the views and the sun. Our lodge is part of a newly build area of unique mountain houses at Klöverbacken, know for its location just at the foot of the mountain. You find hiking and skiingpaths just around the corner from the lodge.
Borgafjäll is a uniqe mountain in the southern parts of Lapland. It is a small village with grocery store, restaurants and even a fine-dining restaurant. Wintertime you find good down- and crosscountry skiing in Borga. The downhill skiing, at Borgafjällsbackarna is especially know for its good off-pist skiing, accessible from the lifts. In the village there are a number of crosscountry skiing tracks as well as good options for backcountry skiing areas. Not least the areas around Klöverfjället, easily accessible from our lodge. The winterseason often starts in december and ends late in April. Borgafjäll is one of the mountainareas in Sweden with most snow during winter. The downhill slopes area open weekends only at the beginning and the end of the season, and run all week long during peak season.
Summertime this is fantastic area for hiking. Daytime och longer hiking trails easily accesible from the lodge. Climbing the Borgahällan is one of many daytime hikes, it gives you a challenging day but a fantastic view. Thera are also a number of small mountain lakes in the area, good for fishing or canoeing.
