Isolated house in the heart of the Auvergne in magnificent surroundings

Large old stone house with 10 possible beds. Located in the heart of the Combrailles, in northern Auvergne, in a very wild mid-mountain region.

Lake 10 minutes away by car, with 3 swimming beaches. Numerous hiking trails. Clermont-Ferrand and the Chaîne des Puys are 45 minutes away. Lyon is 2 hours.

Please note that there is one classic-sized bedroom with a double bed, one very large bedroom with two double beds and that the other 2 beds for 4 people are sofa beds in the living room.

About the neighborhood

We live in a tiny hamlet 3 km from the village. There are no visible neighbors (apart from cows), and only a few people living around here.
It's a wild and rural area: you'll see lots of animals around.
There are many lakes, rivers and ponds in the area.
The surrounding villages hold markets selling local produce, especially in summer.
It's an ideal place to visit the Auvergne, its volcanoes, mountains and green landscapes.

La maison était superbe, parfaitement située à 100m de la plage. Un beau jardin et un environnement très paisible. Nous avons très facilement échangé. Hélas nos hôtes n'ont pas pu venir chez nous pour des raisons personnelles de dernière minute. Mais ils nous ont accueillis chez eux sans aucun problème. Bref, un très beau séjour et une belle découverte du Danemark. Merci Trine et Peter !
