Lovely home in a small city 2 blocks to the ocean in Pleasure Point
This is a single story 3 bedroom home, with 2 full bathrooms. Kitchen, dining room with a table that seats 8 and a living room with a large screen tv. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a bathroom with a shower. In the hall is another bathroom with a tub/shower. One guest room has a new sleeper sofa that is full size and sleeps 2. It is comfortable but also has a mattress topper to use. The other guest room has a full size bed. There is a new washer and dryer unit. The entire house is bright with lots of windows, but still very private. The kitchen is easy to use and because I love cooking so much it has many gadgets and appliances. There is a gas BBQ in the garden. A hot tub is also in the garden for use. The garage is used for exercise equipment, ping pong and bikes. There are currently 3 bikes to use. There are 2 parking places in the driveway. Street parking is easy to find. There is a security camera outside pointed towards the front door only.

About the neighborhood
This is a quiet neighborhood with all the conveniences in walking distance....including the beach! Some of the best surf is just outside the door 2 blocks away, tide pooling, miles of ocean view walks, restaurants, shops, cafes and more. This neighborhood of Pleasure Point has street fairs in the summer and year round there are running races and surf competitions. The closest farmers market happens on Sundays, a quick drive. This neighborhood has a Santa Cruz address but is in the small city of Capitola. Santa Cruz is University town with the famous Beach Boardwalk and within 15 minutes you can be hiking under the Giant Redwoods. A truly amazing central area to visit.

My husband and I are both self employed. Our son just graduated UC San Diego in Film and Digital Arts and our daughter is a junior at San Diego State University for marketing. Our daughter will be doing her 2026 Spring semester in Florence. Our kids come home for the holidays and part of the summer, we love to travel together. We have an indoor only cat who is 4 years old. He is a bit shy and only sleeps in one of the bedrooms. We spend a lot of time in our home because the location is amazing! Multiple times a day we walk along the Monterey Bay here in Santa Cruz, just down the block. We eat out a lot but cook more often than not! We camped when the kids were still home, and often traveled to Kauai, Hawaii - and have been to Italy twice now.
