Beautiful Family Maisonette in a Quiet Neighbourhood Within Walking Distance of Salzburg’s Old Town
Our flat is a great base for exploring Salzburg and the surrounding region, with or without children. It offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere where you'll quickly feel at home, with plenty of space for a family of four.
The mezzanine level features a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with a dining area, a comfortable living room, a bathroom with toilet, and a wardrobe. Upstairs, you will find the master bedroom, two children's rooms, and a second bathroom.
Our apartment is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, close to the beautiful Almkanal, a favorite local spot for cooling off on hot summer days, and the Mönchsberg, one of Salzburg's most scenic hills, topped by the iconic Hohensalzburg Fortress. The historic city centre is within easy walking distance and can also be reached in just a few minutes by bike.
We particularly enjoy the combination of a quiet residential setting and excellent accessibility. The location offers urban convenience, good public transport connections, and easy access to some of Austria's and Bavaria's most beautiful destinations. Another advantage is the excellent cycling infrastructure in and around Salzburg, which makes it easy to get around the city and explore the surrounding area by bike.
Our home offers a peaceful retreat while being close to Salzburg's many sights, cultural attractions, and outdoor activities.

Open-Minded Family with a Love for Travel and Local Experiences
We are a family of four which enjoys travelling, spending time outdoors, meeting new people, and discovering new places. We like watersports, skiing, kiting, music, crafting things and after all, cycling, both in our everyday lives in and around Salzburg and when exploring new destinations. What especially appeals to us is experiencing the local atmosphere of places outside our own bubble. Dominik was on house exchange in the 90s with his family, having had wonderful experiences in Scotland and Denmark.
We are tidy, respectful, and easy-going. Through our extended family, we are already familiar with home exchanges and appreciate the trust and openness they involve. Before having children, we were active Couchsurfing hosts and guests, which gave us the opportunity to meet people from many different countries and experience places from a local perspective.
We are looking forward to sharing our home and discover yours!
