Cognac is situated in the south west of France, very sunny area in summer. it's also the town of the famous brandy.
You can discover a large historical heritage like roman churches, castles, old towns. You discover Charente river valley and all around vineyard landscape.
About one hour by car , you can visit la Rochelle ( old town with a famous port) and the great city of Bordeaux which center is classed " world heritage" by the Unesco.
More over going to Paris is very easy by train (only 3 hours)
You can spend sometime to the coast (1 hour by car) . There're a lot of beaches to take a sea bath,. you'll visit two islands Oléron and Ré very typical and appreciated in France.
We have got a camping gear if you want to stay more than one day near the sea.
