Our summer house in beautiful MYKONOS island
What can i say for that island which captured our hearts from the very first moment...Our summer house in beautiful Mykonos island. We have made 20 exchanges so far all of them very successful and we have remained friends with many intervac members. We have been to London 4 times ,Paris 3 times, ,South of France,NYC 4 times, Napa valley, San francisco, Barcelona,, Stockholm, Oslo, Berlin 2 times, ,Venice, Amsterdam, Ireland, to name a few.From Mykonos you can make many one day trips to nearby islands, as Tinos -30 minutes by the quick ferry, Andros, Siros, There is even a direct quick ferry from Mykonos to the Crete island during the summer months. .DONT forget to visit the ancient island of DELOS the birth place of the twin gods Apollo and Artemis, which is a very short distance ( 30 minutes) away from Mykonos. We may offer a small apartment in Athens city center if you want to explore the city for a few days (depending if it is available) Have in mind that we are NOT interested in villages, remoted places ,or in sport activities.

Nálægasti flugvöllur: mykonos - about 2 kilometres
Ornos village is situated about 2 kilometres away from the Mykonos island's city center .Our house is about 400 metres from the Ornos beach and 150 metres from the bus stop. There is a super market, 2 bakeries, laundry , restaurants ,butcher shop etc very near by.

We jhave two grown up daughters who they dont come with us.If my husband doesnt want to follow me i may travel with my youngest daughter who is an architect, or maybe with my sister.We have made many exchanges so far and we enjoyed all of them. We have remain good friends with many exchange partners for some years now and we love it dearly.
Our best exchabges were with usa which we do love very much.
