Beautiful, quiet and sunny flat in the middle of Berlin
We are a family of 5 (52,50,23,16,8), living in the centre of Berlin.
Our appartment is situated right in the middle of Prenzlauer Berg, a famous district in Berlin.
We have a double bed (adult bedroom), a twinsized loftbed with a twin sized bed underneath (nursery/ childrens room) as well as a pull out couch (in the living room) that can fit two people.
It is a quiet place and close to a beautiful park (Volkspark Friedrichshain). On the other hand it is pretty close to Alexanderplatz, Unter den Linden, Kastanienallee, Friedrichstraße etc. where there are lots of shopping oppurtinities.
The flat (82 m²) is on fourth floor of a house from 1910, with wooden floors, high ceilings, huge windows. Its also very sunny during the whole day. It offers two bedrooms (one for children one for a couple), a big living room and a nice kitchen to sit in (including a dishwasher and of course a washing machine), a bathroom with a bathtub, a sunny balcony and a tuned piano! There is fast wireless internet and an wireless telephone with free landline calls in Germany installed. For your music listening pleasure we have a great stereo system with CD and a laptop for watching movies, but – sorry – NO TV.
Tram-stations of 3 different tramways are only 2 minutes away. Lots of Cafes, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. We offer 2 bikes for adults and one for children as well as one child’s seat.

le logement de Gesine correspond à la présentation faite dans l'annonce intervac;cependant nous avons été surpris par la "petitesse" de leur logement au vu de la taille de leur famille avec 3 enfants il est bien situé dans Berlin il y a eu une facilité d'échange d'informations car Gesine parle aussi le Français nous avons été en contact tout au long du séjour pour régler des détails matériels et autres ...c'était très réconfortant
We had a great time in Berlin! The apartment is comfortable and has a lot of charm. We loved the neighbourhood, which is very well connected to the rest of the city by tram. Patric and Gesine are very nice and gave us lots of information so we could get around the city like true Berliners. We were in contact with them throughout the exchange and they took very good care of our home.
A cosy apartment in the city center. The area is perfect for a Berlin vacation: lots of restaurants and cafés around, the big Volkspark Friedrichshain nearby and very good public transportation. We had a wonderful time here!
La familia, a la que no conocimos en persona, nos ayudó muchísimo a integrarnos en su apartamento y su barrio. Fueron atentos, y nos hicieron realmente sentir en casa. Espero que fuera mutuo.

We are a family of 5.
Gesine (50) is a nursery teacher.
Patric (52) is Audio Engineer at one of Berlins radio stations.
Our older daughter Imogen 23 years old, while our second daughter Muriel is 16 years old and goes to high school.
Our son Titus is 8 years old and goes to elementary school.
We are looking forward to see as much beautiful places in the world as we can and we
offer a really beautiful and comfy place for you to enjoy our excellent city Berlin!
