Wine country near Pacific Ocean

Our 3,500 square foot home sits on 5 wooded acres, a 20 minute drive to downtown Eugene and the University of Oregon. Eugene is the original home of Nike, "Track Town USA", where the Olympic Trials are often held. We are down the road from Fern Ridge Lake with parks, swimming, picnic areas, kayak/canoe rentals, paddle-boarding and fishing. We also have 100 acres of groomed hiking trails right below our property for the use of our neighborhood. We are located in the heart of wine country, the Willamette Valley being one of the premier wine-making regions in the world for Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, with over 25+ wineries nearby. Lots of craft beer pubs and tasting rooms in our area. Our home is approx. 45 minute drive to ocean beaches, near several rivers and lakes, and about an hour to the local snow ski resort in the winter months. We are less than 2 hours to Portland, and a few hours to Crater Lake National Park (7th deepest lake in the world), both which can be done as a day trip. There are also several golf courses nearby. Eugene has some great restaurants and an active nightlife. There is the Eugene Saturday Market with crafts, food and music. During July, the neighboring town of Elmira hosts the Oregon Country Fair, a festival that is known throughout the US. The Eugene airport is only 10 miles from our home.

The owner’s suite is on the main level with a king bed and ensuite bath. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a king bed, and another with a queen bed, and 2 full baths. There is a 4th room that is used for TV/Den that can be set up as an additional bedroom if more room is needed.

We live in the small town of Elmira, which is a suburb of Eugene. We love being just outside of town to have peace and quiet, yet takes 20 minutes to get to the main city (Eugene), with a beautiful drive past the lake. Behind our property, there is a 100 acre common area with hiking trails that belongs to our neighborhood association, so you can come hike in your own private woods right out the back door. The small town of Veneta is 10 minute's drive, where there is a grocery store, restaurants, gas, etc. so although you are "country", all the conveniences are very nearby.
