Kempten is a beautiful city with 70,000 inhabitants between Munich and Lake Constance on the edge of the Alps. Austria and the castle of Neuschwanstein are only 40 minutes away by car. To Munich you drive about 1.5 hours.
Kempten is the oldest city in Germany. There is a beautiful outdoor pool / swimming pool and many parks with playgrounds. Within 20 km there are several lakes. There are also 2 indoor playgrounds for bad weather nearby.
Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a traditional weekly market. Here you can buy regional fruits / vegetables, have a Weisswurst breakfast or eat Kässpätzle.
Our house is located on the northern outskirts. With the city bus everything is easily accessible on site. By foot you need about 25 minutes to the city center.
We live in a cozy terraced house with about 130 square meters and 150 square meters garden. Outside there is a covered terrace, which invites to barbecues. A stone barbecue is available.
There is also a wooden horse, a playhouse for children and a small trampoline (180 cm)
In the attic we have a youth room with double bed (180 x 200). The stairs to the attic is not suitable for a toddler, because it is quite steep.
On the first floor are the master bedroom with double bed (180 x 200) and a small children's room with a single bed. Toys and family games are sufficiently available.
There is also a small bathroom with bathtub and toilet on the first floor.
On the ground floor are the living room, the kitchen and a guest bathroom with small shower and toilet. There is also a cellar with washing machine and dryer.
Our house is not a museum, it is a home, where you can spend a great Holiday.

Kempten ist eine wunderschöne Stadt mit 70.000 Einwohnern zwischen München und dem Bodensee am Rand der Alpen. Zum Schloss Neuschwanstein und nach Österreich dauert es etwa 40 Minuten mit dem Auto. Nach München fährt man ca. 1,5 Stunden.
Kempten ist die älteste Stadt Deutschlands. Hier gibt es ein wunderschönes Freibad/Schwimmbad und viele Parks mit Spielplätzen. In Umkreis von 20 km gibt es mehrere Badeseen. Ebenso gibt es in der Nähe 2 Indoorspielplätze für schlechtes Wetter.
Mittwochs und Samstags findet jeweils ein traditioneller Wochenmarkt statt. Hier kann man regionales Obst/Gemüse kaufen, ein Weisswurstfrühstück zu sich nehmen oder Kässpätzle essen.
Unser Haus liegt am nördlichen Stadtrand. Mit dem Stadtbus ist alles vor Ort gut erreichbar. Zu Fuß braucht man etwa 25 Minuten bis ins Stadtzentrum.
Wir leben in einem gemütlichen Reihenmittelhaus mit ca. 130 qm Wohnfläche und 150 qm Garten. Draußen gibt es eine überdachte Terrasse, welche zum Grillen einlädt. Ein Steingrill ist vorhanden.
Hier stehen auch ein Holzpferd, ein Spielhaus für Kinder und ein kleines Trampolin (180 cm)
Im Dachgeschoss haben wir ein Jugendzimmer mit Doppelbett (180 x 200). Die Treppe zum Dachgeschoss ist nicht für ein Kleinkind geeignet, weil sie recht steil ist.
In der ersten Etage liegen das Elternschlafzimmer mit Doppelbett (180 x 200) und ein kleines Kinderzimmer mit einem einzelnen Bett. Spielzeug und Familienspiele sind genügend vorhanden.
Außerdem befindet sich ein kleines Bad mit Badewanne und WC im ersten Stock.
Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich das Wohnzimmer, die Küche und ein Gästebad mit kleiner Dusche und WC. Außerdem gibt es noch einen Keller mit Waschmaschine und Trockner.
Unser Haus ist kein Museum, hier darf gelebt werden.
