Nice house in rural environment
Our house is situated 8 km from Lillehammer city center. It has a large garden with a nice view. There are a lot of marked tracks in the neighbourhood,, bringing you to 1000 meter tops with splendid views on green hills and snowy mountains. There are a lot of lakes where you can swim or paddle. It's a 2,5 hour drive to Oslo, and 3 hours to the mountains with tops up to 2469 meters.
We have 2 cats, 1 rabbit and 1 chicken which need to be feeded. They also can be on theirselves for a few days if they have access to food and water. We have toys for children like lego, duplo, knexx and playmobil, games and puzzles. We have a baby cot, high chair, baby bath and baby car seat that suits for children up to 7 years as well.

Sobre el vecindario
We live in a very rural area, but it is only 8 kilometers to the village of Lillehammer. Lillehammer has 27500 inhabitants. It has a svimming pool, theatre, movies, train station, museums, shops, restaurants. There is a amusement park, espesially for younger children. Lillehammer was the olympic city of the wintergames in 1994, and the youth olympic games in 2016.
From our house you can walk straight in the forest. There is a busstopp at 700 meters with buses to the village and the nearest mountains where you can hike, paddle, picking berries or just relax with a beer or a coffee or icecream at the cafe. There are also barbecue places out in nature if you want to barbecue.
On wintertime, there are several downhill skiing possibilities, as well as cross country skiing, we also have snowshoes so you can do walks right behind the house.

We had a wonderful experience exchanging with Pim and Thea. Communications with them were friendly and easy, and we felt we got to know them. The house was lovely and we had a great time looking after the pets. Pim and Thea were so helpful even during our stay, helping us with a few things even during their holiday. They were brilliant to exchange with and we would highly recommend them to others.
Als wir das Angebot gesehen haben, waren wir sogleich begeistert von der Lage des Hauses. Das Haus ist zweckmässig eingerichtet und wir genossen es, hier zu kochen und die Abende zu verbringen. Da wir ländliche Gebiete vorziehen, waren die Umstände Ideal, auch wenn wir nur mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs waren. Die Kommunikation mit Thea und Pim gestaltete sich spontan und unkompliziert. Unser zu spätes Eintreffen (Ausfall eines Zuges) nahmen sie verständnisvoll entgegen. Besonders geschätzt haben wir das gemeinsame Nachtessen. Gerne übernahmen wir unsererseits das Füttern der Kleintiere und fühlten uns so richtig auf dem Land. Unsere elektrischen Fahrräder konnten wir ganz einfach in der Garage aufladen. Thea und Pim hinterliessen unsere Wohnung in einem tadellosen Zustand. Wir hoffen auch sie haben den Aufenthalt in Sachseln geniessen können.
