The apartment is located in a very quiet area, even though it is close to downtown. It takes around 5 minutes to walk to Hlemmur and Laugavegur, the main downtown street with many shops and restaurants. Hallgrímskirkja and Skólavörðustígur are within a 10-minute walking distance.
Kjarvalsstaðir, one of the main art galleries in Reykjavík, is just around the corner.
Bónus, one of the best grocery stores in Reykjavík, is a 5-minute walk away on Skipholt.
