The best of Australia's countryside, 1hrs from Melbourne !
Our house has the best of 2 worlds: 1h from buzzing Melbourne and yet located in the beautiful Macedon ranges area, in the small country town of Malmsbury.
1 acre property surrounded by bush walks and farms, walking distance from the town, primary school and train station.
Comfortable and very functional house, very well-equipped kitchen and recently done bathrooms. Highlights include a large ensuite, and a huge office/gym room outside the main house.
Things to do in our area: swim, fish, kayak in the many reservoirs, springs and lakes, mountain biking, camping, bush walks and Australian wildlife, including exotic birds, kangaroos, wombats and blue tongue lizards... Local markets with fresh local produce are one of our favourites, along with the second-hand warehouses and seasonal festivals in the artsy towns of Castlemaine and Daylesford (each 20min drive from Malmsbury). You'll love it!
