Our home is located in Maridalen, a unique and protected valley on the northern edge of Oslo.

One of the things we value most is the sense of space, privacy and tranquillity. The property is surrounded by nature, and although Oslo is only a short drive away, everyday life here feels peaceful and rural. There are few neighbours nearby, and the house enjoys a secluded setting with beautiful views and direct access to forests, trails and open landscapes.

Maridalen is known for its rich history, traditional farms, lakes and protected natural environment. It is one of the rare places where you can wake up to birdsong, enjoy complete peace and quiet, go for a walk in the forest straight from the front door, and still reach the centre of a capital city within minutes.

The area is ideal for hiking, cycling, running, swimming in nearby lakes during summer and cross-country skiing during winter. Wildlife such as deer, foxes and a wide variety of birds are regularly seen in the area.
