We have called our home "les catalpas". "les catalpas" are the trees which are planted in the back-garden.
Our home is situated in Normandy, in the center of a little village called SAINT-ANDRE sur CAILLY (850 inhabitants) in the " Département de la Seine-Maritime".
SAINT-ANDRE sur CAILLY is 15kms far from ROUEN, 45kms far from DIEPPE, 70kms far from LE HAVRE and about 130kms far from Paris.
The house was built at the end of the 19th century.We have it fully renovated. We live there since 20 years. The garden is about 3000 square-meters .
On the first floor are the kitchen, the dining-room, the living-room, one bath-room and the master bedroom.
In the living-room there is a fire-place and the piano.
On the second floor are Martin's bedroom, Simon's bedroom, the TV room and the second bathroom (with a bath).
Marie and I(Didier) have two sons, Martin and Simon. They are 31 years old. They are twins. It is not sure that they will travel with us.
Marie is a school-teacher. She was working with disable pupils and she is now retired. I'll
I was a psychologist and I am retired since september 2015.
We have made about 20 home-exchange, all of them were great hollidays. We enjoy meating people from others cultures.

We had wonderfool communication with our exchange partners. We haven't seen each others, but I can say we made friends. Their house and the estate is lovely, house with vintage charm and huge garden, green and flattering. We felt fine there and fully recommend to anybody wanting to see Normandy and to rest in the countryside.
La casa dei nostri amici di Intervac è bellissima vicina ad ogni località della Normandia e c'è un gatto simpatico che ci ha fatto compagnia
Con Didier e Marie abbiamo fatto un fantastico scambio simultaneo casa ed automobile. La casa è meravigliosa, molto spaziosa ben attrezzata e con un giardino fantastico. La famiglia ha anche un fantastico orto che con con piacere abbiamo preso cura e da cui abbiamo attinto ortaggi fantastici per tutta la vacanza. Didier e Marie hanno anche dei fantastici vicini di casa sempre pronti ad aiutarci per ogni necessità. Dopo una settimana di Parigi dopo i Giochi Olimpici stare in questa casa è stato veramente rigenerante, la zona è bellissima, tantissimi posti da visitare sia sulla costa che all'interno. La prossima volta che torneremo porteremo anche le nostre biciclette, questa zona è ricchissima di ciclabili che scorrono lungo la Senna. Un bellissimo scambio con una bella famiglia!

Nous sommes un couple de retraités qui aime voyager , aller au théâtre. Nous aimons aussi la lecture et la culture. Nous voyageons généralement tous les deux, parfois avec un couple d' amis. Nos enfants vivent leur vie de leur côté. Ils nous rejoignent parfois lors de nos échanges.
