Large family house in the beautiful Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Great Britain
The house is secluded and peaceful in .5 hectare garden with outstanding views over a wooded valley.The Cotswolds is an area of great natural beauty, picturesque villages and we are near Cheltenham (20 km), Oxford (70 km) and Bath (60 km). London is 1.5 hrs by train(6 km).Stroud is 10 minutes by car and has 3 large supermarkets and shops, banks, cinema, etc. plus a thriving Saturday farmer's market.
There are golf courses within 2 miles nearby, beautiful walks, gliding, National Trust country houses and gardens, country pubs, horse riding and markets.
A car is available for exchange by arrangement (Insurance)
There is a hard tennis court in the garden, garden furniture, fruit and vegetables. The kitchen has an Aga and there is a piano.
We have 3 chickens, very easy to look after or we can arrange care.

We live on the edge of a village opposite woodland. You can sometimes see squirrels and deer in the garden, plus there is much birdsong.
There is a pub (The Ram) just 5 minutes walk away and it serves good meals.

La famille avait préparé un magnifique accueil dans leur maison: frigo rempli, cadeau, vins... Maison tout à fait conforme par rapport à ce qui se trouve sur le site internet.

We are retired semi-retired, sometimes travel on our own, sometimes with our children granddaughter
This year we are travelling with our son Tom, his wife Hadiza and their baby, Dahlia, who will be 2 years old. We have been Intervac members for many years - since the printed book (!), when our children were small and have had very many wonderful holidays, in GB, Europe, USA and Africa.
We have an allergy to cats, so would be unable to care for a cat.
