Beautiful, historical Bath?!

Bath is an elegant city full of traditional heritage, contemporary culture, green spaces and a few welcome surprises. Built for pleasure and relaxation, beautiful Bath has been a wellbeing destination since Roman times. The waters are still a big draw, both at the ancient Roman Baths and the modern Thermae Bath Spa, which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain that you can bathe in.
Bath’s compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink, plus some of the finest independent shops in Britain, making it the ideal city to visit. We have a remarkable collection of museums and galleries, alongside theatres, music spaces and sports venues.
Bath's stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture is straight from a Jane Austen novel – highlights include the iconic Royal Crescent and the majestic Circus (our home is a 3 minute walk from these).
There’s plenty to see beyond the city, too, with stunning Somerset countryside to explore, as well as attractions like Stonehenge, Avebury and Longleat Safari Park. Bath is quite central to Southern England and a great base to visit many areas - London, Cornwall, Wales, Oxford, Stratford, the Cotswolds, Glastonbury etc. Connections to London are very easy, approximately 80 minutes by train; Dominic spent several years commuting each day to and from work.
Bath is easily accessed from many countries, either via the London Airports, Bristol Airport, or various sea crossings.

This is our second exchange with this family. All arrangements were done easily between us. Very straightforward. We both got the holidays we expected. They strived to help us arrange activities for our girls while visiting. They took good care of our house.

Jane and Dominic's Bath house is a classic English home, tastefully renovated, located within the town of Bath, just about a 15-minute walk from the city center. It’s a comfortable and cozy house, with a spacious kitchen and a warm, comfortable bedroom.
